6-Day Luxury Big Five at Tshukudu Bush Lodge in the Pilanesberg

From: EUR € 4.900,00
We love this moment: your South African safari starts here. We'll answer any questions you have and get you out there to discover the amazing wildlife, people and landscapes that this remarkable country has to offer.
Situated in an extinct volcanic crater to the northwest of Johannesburg, the Pilanesberg Game Reserve ranks among Africa’s finest malaria-free safari destinations. Established in the 1970s and restocked with all the Big Five, this 550km² reserve should provide you with great elephant, buffalo, white rhino, giraffe, zebra and antelope encounters. With a bit of luck you might also see lions, leopards or other large carnivores.
You'll love the warm light and cooler temperatures as we take you out to explore on your evening game drive. This time of day is when both predators and prey are most active and it can feel as though anything could happen at any moment. This is when you'll most enjoy being on safari.
We return to the scenic Pilanesberg Game Reserve in the hope of seeing some of the varied wildlife we missed the first time around.
Put on some warm clothes and enjoy an early morning game drive. This is the perfect time to experience the wildlife and the landscapes they inhabit. The light is soft and warm – perfect for photography – and most animals are out and about, and active. If you’re not an early riser, you’ll definitely want to make an exception here.
